| It is easier to be wise for others than for ourselves. Francois De La Rochefoucauld
I feel like there's this tug-of-war inside of me and I'm not sure which direction I really want to head. Maybe part of the problem is that I haven't thought of what I truely wanted for so long- I just kept putting one foot in front of the other and living with a direction but without a purpose. I can't be so ignorant as to think that I've changed so much as a person but all my wants have remained the same. So the question remains that in seeking what I wanted and, in the process of acheiving that, did part of me walk from the quest too soon? | | |
| What's new? I went with Zo to the "Walk the Line" premiere on Sunday which was absolutely crazy but so much fun. We ended up standing in the middle of Broadway on the median and taking pictures of all the celebs. There were a lot of unexpected people there which made it exciting. Zo even got one of the media guys to take pictures for her with our camera being that they could get closer. There was even a fight between the security and one of the media men that tried to get too close. It was intense! Hm....what else...oh yes! I'm going to see U2!!! (thanks to gabriel ) ...I'm so excited! woot! alright, that's all for now. | | |
| Ok, I'm only writing on here right now because...alright, there's a few reasons...first of all, it's 2:25 am so there's not much else do to. Secondly, I was reading the news online and happened upon the article about the prisoner in Houston that escaped, so I'm here to rant a bit. This isn't some "Martha Stewart- like, white collar" criminal. This is a man that was on death row for killing his former girlfriend and her friend. There's no excuse for escape, obviously. Just another affirmation that the system needs examined. Alright, that's all for now. *Deep breath* | | |
| Myspace is the best place to get random surveys....
Two Names You Go By 1. Amber 2. Reba
Two Parts of Your Heritage 1. Italian 2. Swedish
Two Things That Scare You 1. Lil Kims face (someone else had this on here, and I just left it because it fits) 2. the thought of our govt. not protecting it's law abiding citizens as it was created to do
Two Everyday Essentials 1. vitamins 2. shower

Two Things You Want in a Relationship 1. love 2. understanding of one another
Two Truths 1. I love being left handed! It makes me feel...unique (which is an overused word, but right up there as one of my favorites) 2. Jacko is wacko (ha another leftover from the past writer of this survey)....but my answer: as much as people say that they don't have emotional baggage from the past, that's never the case because it becomes part of you so you can't just get rid of it
Two things You hate: 1. stupid away messages (which even- I admit- am guilty of sometimes) 2. parole violators
Two Physical Things that Appeal to You 1. Posture 2. Piercing eyes
Three of Your Favorite Hobbies 1. laughing at inopportune times 2. singing in the car 3. writing (especially writing something that no one will ever read, it's easy to open up that way and really helps turn thoughts into words and something more real)
Two Things You Want Really Badly 1. a zanex might be nice right now to help me chill lol, just kidding....
2. Pumpkin pie...just because I've been craving it forever and a day now...
Two Places You Want to go on Vacation 1. Italy
2. Vermont (even though I've been there, once)...the most beautiful name for a place. Ever.
Two Things You Want to Do Before You Die 1. write a memoir
2. hm...tough to pick only one more....skydive?
Two Ways that you are stereotypically a Chick/Guy 1. I actually do like to get dressed up sometimes, even though usually I just live in jeans
2. Not too many people know this, but even though I'm skeptical of the institution of marriage and completely against big weddings I have thought about what I would want my wedding to be like- if it happens.
Two Things You Normally Wouldn't Admit 1. I laugh when I get emotionally stressed sometimes, the more stressed, the more I laugh. Maybe it's just how I deal with emotional pain. 2. Sometimes when I think about it, the future really scares me. I guess it's the fear of the unknown.

| You know the saying, "all is well that ends well," what happens if things don't end well. Or what happens when the end is only the ending to part of something and the rest is left to continue- only it's missing a primary part of it's composistion. Will the part that's left completely disintigrate in a slow, down hill spiral? This probably doesn't make any sense, so I'll stop typing now. | | |
